The Story of Roscoe
Roscoe was an abandoned rabbit; cold, alone and struggling to survive. Join him on his journey to friendship, trust, and a sense of belonging as he learns what love is really about when he finds his forever home.
The Story of Roscoe is also available through Barnes & Nobles.
There really was a Roscoe. After he was rescued, he learned how to live his best life with Mabel and his beloved dog.
This story is a delightful story about adoption and acceptance into a new family. Roscoe's story is perfect for helping children understand how scary it can be for a new pet in a strange environment. I think this story would also work to help explain to kids what it feels like when a foster brother or sister comes to stay. A perfect way to teach children how much fun it is to play and share with your family. - Karen L.
This story is absolutely adorable with great illustrations. It captures the journey of a rescued bunny and the complex emotions a new pet might experience in a way kids will be drawn to and understand. Highly recommend for any family looking to adopt a pet or just enjoy a feel good story. - Jenn

I read this through before thinking of giving it to some young folk I know who love animals. This is a great story filled with all kinds of emotions, non truly scary. It tells the tale of Roscoe the abandoned rabbit and how he finds a home with a great family.
He finds permanence and love and friends too. Easy for a youngster to read and reread and appreciate.
Great find and I hope this author writes more!! - Barb Hartwell
This book tells the story of a rabbit who starts off scared and unsure but finds love, safety, and friendship in his new home. It shows the power of companionship with how the other rabbit helped him feel at home. The story truly shines when a dog joins the family. Despite their differences, the rabbit and the dog form an unlikely but beautiful bond, becoming best friends and proving that love and friendship know no boundaries.
The illustrations are charming, and the story carries a powerful message about overcoming fear, finding family, looking beyond differences, and the joy of adopting pets. It’s also great for teaching kids about compassion and the importance of giving animals a second chance. - Kassidy
